An innovative IoT System-on-Module development board, that has also been certified and cost-optimized for use in volume production of custom products. This enables the design of cellular connected edge devices, certified for operation in the U.S.
The SIM includes data connectivity and SMS from time of purchase. Includes data and SMS up to 150MB and 150 SMS or 6 months, whichever comes first. Also included with the kit is trial access for AT&T M2X platform.
The kit board contains an ambient light sensor, a temperature sensor as well as an accelerometer.
We see applications that combine other network technologies with cellular all the time. Cellular is an important part of the mix because a device is often not in a place where another network is available and is trusted.
Yes, it’s built into the module. The included antenna works with the GPS connector.
For host mode, a developer uses the Open Embedded Linux environment and the Yocto tool chain. A Linux VM with the necessary tools is available for download, along with guides to program it and control the modem with AT commands.
In modem mode, the development environment is completely open to what the developer wants to use and what host environment is available.
