AT&T Device Management Program FAQs
Does the AT&T Device Management Program enroll devices into an EMM?
No. The AT&T Device Management Program enrolls devices into one of the third-party device enrollment programs: Apple Business, Android zero-touch, or Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment. Those programs then enroll the devices into the customer’s preferred EMM/MDM.
What is a third-party device enrollment program?
A device enrollment program allows administrators to pre-provision their devices to automatically enroll into an EMM or UEM such as MobileIron®, VMWare Workspace ONE®, SentinelOne, or Lookout Mobile Endpoint Security before they are out of the box.
Can I have more than one third-party device enrollment program registered on my AT&T foundation account (FAN)?
Yes, you can register one ID from each of the three third-party device enrollment programs per foundation account. If you register both Android zero-touch and Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment, all eligible Samsung devices will auto-enroll into Knox Mobile Enrollment, and all other eligible Android devices will enroll into zero-touch.
How long will it take to see my devices within my third-party device enrollment program profile?
In most cases, devices are submitted for enrollment when they ship out from our warehouse. If you purchase the device in a retail store or request a manual enrollment, it can take up to one business day to show.
