Agency continues to help vulnerable populations by creating virtual office
The Community Health Council of Wyandotte County was forced to close its doors due to COVID-19, but the pandemic only intensified its clients’ need for assistance. The agency needed a way to continue assisting its clients without risking infection.
Creating a virtual office allowed the lines of communication to remain open. Clients continued to receive financial assistance, childcare assistance, rides to vaccination and testing sites, and general help navigating the healthcare system.
AT&T Office@Hand made it possible for CHC staff to remain responsive. The cloud-based solution connects workers with clients and other care providers via phone, fax, text, and audio/video conferencing, enabling the continued delivery of services.
