    The Community Health Council of Wyandotte County was forced to close its doors due to COVID-19, but the pandemic only intensified its clients’ need for assistance. The agency needed a way to continue assisting its clients without risking infection.

    Creating a virtual office allowed the lines of communication to remain open. Clients continued to receive financial assistance, childcare assistance, rides to vaccination and testing sites, and general help navigating the healthcare system.
