Together we are connecting families to technology

AT&T Dedicated Internet customers can join with us to bring technology to underserved communities through AT&T Connected Learning Centers

by Dan Blemings, AT&T Assistant Vice President, Product Management and Development

The past couple of years have shown just how important broadband connectivity is to our daily lives. Many of us rely on the internet to do important tasks such as work from home or participate in virtual school. Unfortunately, not everyone can get online. Today, millions of Americans don’t have adequate access to high-speed internet, devices, or digital skills that can help them succeed in today’s digital world.

We’re dedicated to service

At AT&T, we’re dedicated to doing our part to help make it easier for students and their families to realize the potential in online learning. We’ve committed $2 billion to help connect families to technology. This includes providing low-cost broadband options and community investment with our AT&T Connected Learning initiative.

As part of these efforts, we’re opening AT&T Connected Learning Centers in underserved communities across the U.S. These centers are located in community organizations. They provide under-resourced students and families with free access to AT&T Fiber internet, Wi-Fi, and computers – as well as educational resources, including mentoring and tutoring.

Within these centers, we’re deploying AT&T Dedicated Internet, a reliable, dedicated connection with equally fast upload and download speeds, proactive monitoring, industry-leading service-level agreements, and a network that’s managed 24x7. We want to make sure students and families can get online and are able to do their homework, apply for jobs, and connect with family and friends.

How you can participate

We’re deeply committed to the communities where we live and work, and we know our customers are too. Now there’s a way you can join us in supporting the nonprofit organizations that host the AT&T Connected Learning Centers.

For every new dedicated internet port purchased from AT&T from February 1 through December 31, 2022, we will donate $100 to AT&T Connected Learning Center host organizations, up to $25,000 per nonprofit*. The qualifying customer may choose which organization to support. To show our appreciation, customers will be able to choose an item from AT&T Connected Learning Center and AT&T Dedicated Internet branded apparel.

Together, we can help connect families to more resources and open up opportunities across the country.
