by AT&T Business Editorial Team

Gartner Inc., the research and analyst firm, named AT&T a Leader in its Magic Quadrant for Managed M2M Services, Worldwide report*.

We were named a Leader for our completeness of vision and ability to execute in the Managed M2M Services market.

As defined by Gartner, managed machine-to-machine (M2M) services encompass:

  • integrated and managed IT infrastructure and systems
  • OT infrastructure and systems
  • software
  • network services (connectivity)
  • IT services

New platforms

Since being named a Leader, we have launched two new platforms to give our customers even more choices to help simplify Internet of Things (IoT) operations.

We launched AT&T IoT Console, which enables our customers to manage and monitor different types of connections on multiple operators’ networks across the globe from one log in.

We also launched a platform called AT&T DataFlow, a managed, cloud-hosted IoT service that extends the intelligent network, enabling companies to create business value through the management, integration, and consumption of connected device data.
