AT&T Commercial DSL Loop Products
These products provide a wholesale DSL offering used by Data Local Exchange Carriers (DLECs) to deliver xDSL to their customers.
Line Share One
Line Share (LS) One provides a high-frequency spectrum of copper loop from the central office. This provides DLECs with xDSL-based services over the same facility used to provide retail voice service. The LS One product offering is made possible by splitting the cable pair into two distinct signals. This service is available only where AT&T is providing the retail voice service over the same loop facility.
Advanced Broadband Service (ABBS)
Advanced Broadband Service (ABBS) allows DLECs to provision ADSL-based
services over AT&T's Next Generation Digital Loop Carrier Broadband
Architecture, over the same facility used to provide retail voice service. ABBS
provides an end-to-end dedicated interstate internet information access service
available to DLECs. This service is available only where AT&T is providing
retail voice service over the same facility.
Remote Terminal Data Only Service
Remote Terminal (RT) Data Only Service is an end-to-end dedicated interstate internet transport service available to DLECs to provide xDSL-based services over AT&T's broadband architecture. This service provides a data-only loop to DLEC's collocation arrangement in each serving wire center.
This data-only offering does not include a separate transmission path for voice traffic and is available irrespective of whether AT&T is providing the retail voice service to the carrier's data customer.
