The AT&T Telepresence Solution combines high-definition audio, high-definition video, and interactivity to enable people working at different locations to communicate as if they were in the same room. Through advanced visual technology, participants can easily perceive subtle facial and bodily expressions. The high-definition audio realistically replicates sounds. For instance, if someone on the left side of a table speaks, you hear the sound on your left.
The AT&T Telepresence Solution uses standard technologies in conjunction with Cisco® specialized applications and hardware. It combines high-definition audio, high-definition video, and interactive elements to deliver a seemingly in-person experience—via the network. The solution uses telepresence technology and employs codecs, cameras, lighting arrays, microphones, and speakers.
