Mike Atkinson, Director of SAP Product Development for AT&T, explains how maintaining SAP applications can help with managing cash flow, improving customer loyalty and taking cost out of the supply chain. SAP has done away with the large-scale and costly upgrades associated with R/3. By keeping the core of ERP 6.0 stable through at least 2010 and maybe a good deal longer, customers can selectively choose, implement and pay for only the enhanced functionality that makes sense for their businesses.
