NetPROTECT Toll Fraud Protection Service
With AT&T NetPROTECT® you get comprehensive and extensive fraud protection. We will help protect your telephone systems against costly losses by providing a service designed to give you timely warnings of "irregularities" in calling, prompt assistance in identifying fraud, and valuable information on toll fraud and its prevention. With AT&T NetPROTECT®, a system is in place to monitor both outbound international and domestic toll free calls 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and to timely notify you of suspicious calling patterns as soon as we can reach you. We also offer you toll fraud education conducted by security experts, who can initiate toll fraud investigations and answer questions via a 24 hour AT&T NetPROTECT® hotline.
Availability
The service is available to include all eligible domestic business customers who subscribe to AT&T voice service. Any exclusion or inclusions to covered Business Services are noted in the AT&T Service Guide or Tariff. For additional information contact your sales associate.
AT&T offers you a range of fraud detection levels to meet your business needs.
- AT&T NetPROTECT® Basic is a service designed to provide you with toll fraud monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no additional charge and, when suspicious calling patterns suggesting remote toll fraud are detected, to quickly attempt to notify you. For the first incident only, your liability is capped under Basic at $25,000 of remote toll fraud during the period before either AT&T notifies you or you notify AT&T of suspected toll fraud.
- AT&T NetPROTECT® Plus gives you a higher level of protection by capping your liability at a maximum of $2,000 of remote toll fraud per incident, per location during the period before either AT&T notifies you or you notify AT&T of suspected toll fraud.
- AT&T NetPROTECT® Premium service protects you from remote toll fraud losses by providing you all the benefits of the Plus service, while reducing your liability to zero for covered services through two hours after either AT&T notifies you or you notify AT&T of suspected toll fraud.
- We support you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with a full fraud detection center with extensive experience in fraud detection, analysis, and prevention
- You have access to customer training and education from security experts
- We will provide you with timely notification of suspicious calling patterns as soon as we can reach you
- Reduced liability for toll fraud via CPE in conjunction with certain business offerings
- Customer education security seminars conducted throughout the country via web meeting. Additionally, security experts who can initiate investigations and answer questions regarding toll fraud staff a 24-hour hot line.
