AT&T Virtual Private Network Tunneling Services (AVTS) is an IP-based service that allows you to send encrypted confidential business data over the Internet or other public networks. One may argue that AVTS eliminates the need for a private network by creating an Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) tunnel through the public network that allow your offices and remote users to communicate in a protected way. With AVTS you can use, use dial-up, broadband, or dedicated access services to connect to the network. Once connected, you can access your corporate Local Area Network (LAN) and intranet services and use the Internet during the same log-in session.
