With OMS, you can define the connections and then use them when you need them -- no extra fees, no waiting for new services. This saves time and money and helps you meet your deadline. In fact, connections between sites can take just minutes when on the AT&T network.
Optical Mesh Service (OMS) is a private network featuring multi-service platforms as edge vehicles and intelligent optical switches at the core. Intelligent switches use innovative software with sophisticated real-time signaling and routing algorithms to route traffic without manual intervention. The network will restore service faster in the event of a failure or disaster, and provide the capability to dramatically shorten provisioning time for new high-speed circuits for business customers who have direct access to the network.
Rapid provisioning of STS1c, STS3c and STS12c (OMS) circuits through the AT&T Intelligent Optical Network Port Sizes in OC3, OC12 and OC48. Allows on-demand reconfiguration of network topologies for enhanced security and disaster recovery.
